THOMAS WINS WNDA “DUCKPIN WORLD CLASSIC” AT DUAL LANES

[singlepic id=48 w=320 h=240 float=right]Tour Events Director Carol Mazzeo presents Mindy Thomas a plaque, winners bouquet and a check for $3000.00 for winning the Women’s National Duckpin Association “Duckpin World Classic” at Dual Lanes. Thomas defeated Lisa Huber 143-140 in the final stepladder match.  This is the second tour win for Thomas who was the National Duckpin Bowling Congress top average woman bowler for 2008-2009. First Perfect Game for Gutekunst

For the perfect game, Jesse will receive a Dual Lanes House Award and awards from the United States Bowling Congress
and the Central Maryland Bowling Association.



Record Setting Night for Nigh

[singlepic id=42 w=320 h=240 float=right]Mark Nigh bowling in the Commercial “A” Men’s League tossed games of 158, 181 & 258 for a 597 set.  The 258 game is a New Dual Lanes House Record for individual game for men topping Darrell Walters game of 245 which was set on September 21, 2006.  The 597 set is a New Dual Lanes House & City Record topping a record that stood for 34 + years. On October 22, 1976 Bill Turner set the mark of 591 with games of 177, 191 & 223 in the same league.


Turner said ” If anyone was going to break my record, I’m glad it was Mark. He kept score for my team when he was growing up”.  For his effort, Mark will receive six(6) Dual Lanes House Awards and two(2) “Gold Awards” from the National Duckpin Bowling Congress.
